Your website is your online shop to the world. I know branding is crucial to your business and focus on your corporate image when creating your site. When a new client views your site, you have just a few seconds to create that all-important good impression to win him over. That is why I only offer custom designed web sites.
Do you have the relevant experience to create our companies site?
Yes, I do. I have been working as the lead web designer for a global company that represents blue chip companies for a couple of years. Prior to that, I worked with several brands on their corporate identity and branding as their lead Graphic Designer. Experience in my industry is the most important factor of getting it right first time.
Do you have proper qualifications in web design?
Yes. I did a formal course at Damelin and am currently busy at Unisa on part-time bases working my way up for that all important degree. Once thing that I however (and think most designers would) say is that experience is still the top priority when it comes to designing. What do they say; practice makes perfect right...
If I already have a site can you help me improve it?
I can freshen up an existing site quicker, and for less money than building one from scratch. If you however do decide to redesign the site the process will take a couple of days longer.
Can you use my business's existing logo, brochure design, and other materials for my website?
That is one of the first things I will ask from you if you decide to create your own website. I strongly believe in keeping a company's corporate identity in tack and will design the site accordingly.
Do you use templates to make your web sites?
No, unless you specifically request that we use a template. Every site I create is unique and designed especially for you or your company. Once again I want to emphasize the importance of branding. A website is another form of advertising and marketing, and if all the sites look exactly the same based on a template, then it means that there will be no difference between you and your competitor. Your look and feel on your site will determine on winning over that potential client or not.
Can you create a Flash web site?
Yes, but I would not recommend it to a client. Most search engines have difficulty reading flash websites and their content, and it is also a pain for users with slower internet connections or those who do not have flash player installed. I do however also offer GIF as an alternative for those certain parts of the site that a client wants an animation.
Can you maintain my web site?
I enjoy helping my clients to grow and develop their online vision. Maintenance provided by the original designer of the web site normally provides better results, fewer problems and lower costs to you.
Do you do other work than just web design?
Indeed. I worked as a graphic designer for 2 years before finding my true passion, web design. I do everything, from logo design, business card design, flyers and brochures all the way to documentation branding, timesheet design and email shots. I have clients that require me to do every aspect of their corporate identity and branding.
